This was the cover for illustration magazine I really liked the other work shown within the magazine but I particularly like the illustration on the cover. I like his use of media the back ground looks like I could have been a watercolour test sheet that he's the drawn on top of and combined with found imagery and text and image .

A page I found interesting about Christopher Corr 's sketchbooks I liked all images so undecided to take a picture of the whole page. In the article he talks about his use of sketchbooks to document interesting things he hears and  sees around him they are all quick drawings / paintings but that's part of there charm .

I love the technical ability required to make this piece althought I do like more contempory approaches to illustration I still find the skill full more traditional drawings beautiful to look at being able to created a piece so tonal using a traditional etching style .

I found this image in a book called  "illustration a visual history"  this was in the neo Impressionism section and I really like the colours an how the red mergers between the mans face and shirt .

I like this illustration on a vessel because of the idea of it being a throwback to traditional pottery but with a much more contemporary drawing style this also give me a focus for how j could combine my interests in illustration and ceramics to produce interesting work .
